His Story:
- 2006-07 – No computers, network, technology support or PD program;
Five Year Achievement Plan
- 2007-08 – New ITV center, New PCs for teachers and students, smart boards, new network, PD program implemented, new network administrator;
- 2008-09 – classroom PCs, more PD offerings, educational software tools implemented, teacher & student interest in technology increases exponentially , student assessments & instructional programs offered through technology;
- 2009-10 – Special Ed PCs, support Title I needs, implement Formative Assessment (reading & math) all students, more PD for teachers;
- 2010-11 – learning at Home, district web-site, expanded network capability, address Arizona Technology Standards for teachers and students, more PCs, more PD programs (online & workshops), pilot response devices, teacher daily use of technology in classrooms;
- 2011-12 – all HWUSD teachers will have developed the Technology skills to effectively use tools & techniques in the classroom (smart boards, A+ Software, Document Cameras, ITV, Stream Liners, Student Response System, Video Streaming, etc.)
