Aventa Learning Credit Recovery

Aventa’s online credit recovery curriculum provides schools with a cost-effective, comprehensive and flexible way to help students pass courses and get the high school credits they need to graduate. Our credit recovery courses are offered in a wide variety of subjects. The online courses are crafted to keep students on task and moving forward, utilizing a “chunked” methodology to increase retention, as well as pre-recorded audio, pre-teaching of vocabulary, and if needed, ELL support.

At Aventa Learning by K¹² we have more than 400 highly qualified teachers. Although our teachers are not physically present, Aventa teachers actively engage students by:

• Monitoring student progress and keeping students on pace with early intervention for inactivity
• Communicating with students through email, message center, and phone
• Hosting real time (synchronous) weekly instructional sessions via Elluminate®
• Enabling student interaction via course discussions and group projects
• Providing timely and meaningful feedback on all written assignments
• Personalizing instruction as needed

If students need “live” help, they can also contact our teacher hot line during our extended instructional support hours (8 AM – 11 PM ET).

Aventa ensures that our school partners remain actively involved in their students’ online experience. Our Aventa Mentor Program provides for close collaboration between the Aventa teacher and the local school, ensuring that students have local, on-site support.

These mentors are trained by Aventa but are designated by your school or district. We’ve designed reports that provide these mentors, along with school and district administrators, teachers, parents and students, with ongoing and accurate updates of students’ progress and performance.
